This morning, the LeadingBetter? team hosted a microlearning on Psychological Safety and High-Performance Teams. I asked the room for insights on the learning, and here's what they had to say... 1. Advertise your mistakes. Withholding them also withholds learning opportunities for others. 2. Push people to try new, hard things - but be ready to encourage the hell out of them. 3. Just because it's safe doesn't mean it will be comfortable. 4. Learning and growing is okay. Be the sponge. 5. You are responsible for saying the hard thing. You are not responsible for someone else's response. 6. Invest in building safety for the WHOLE team, not just a select few. Facilitating is a privilege.
