Our Second Annual Chopped Competition at #The Village at Orchard Ridge was a huge success. Residents filled the seats to watch defending champ, Executive Director Steven Nastasi, MBA go up against our Chef Shalise Turner and Mark Sigler of CCL Hospitality Group. The secret basket ingredients included blackberries, fish sauce, cinnamon, Nopales and Scottish Haggis. The competition was intense! The final dishes were all amazing but in the end our fearless leader came out on top AGAIN!

Allison Roenigk Ciborowski, President and CEO of LeadingAge Maryland, a non-profit organization that advocates for older Marylanders and the services they need, recently visited St. Elizabeth’s Hall for a tour. Part of the Stella Maris Inc campus and community, St. Elizabeth's offers an affordable independent living option for senior adults, providing homes to more than 200 older Marylanders, 100 of which are low-income older adults whose rent is subsidized.
