LeMire, who has served on the board for 12 years, succeeds Andy Crooks and will hold the position for a two-year term. • Member Spotlight: Lutheran Home & Harwood Place in Wauwatosa has cracked the code on long-term care staffing—by using every tool in the toolbox. In an industry where workforce shortages are the norm, Lutheran Home & Harwood Place has taken an innovative, multi-pronged approach to recruitment and retention. Their strategy? Not one magic fix, but a combination of smart, people-focused solutions: ? An in-house CNA training program to grow talent from within ? An on-site child care center to support working parents ? A 24/7 staff gym for self-care and stress relief ? Early wage access through PayActiv to provide financial flexibility ? And perhaps the most unique of all: A Director of Caregiver Support role, filled by the incredible Stephanie Leanes, dedicated to supporting caregivers with education, resources, and emotional support. The result? A thriving, engaged workforce and nearly zero reliance on agency staff. This is what happens when organizations truly invest in their people.
