We are proud to commemorate the successful completion of our inaugural Native American and Alaska Native Women (NAANW) LeadStrong Fellowship. This week, their closing retreat was held at Paicines Ranch, situated on the unceded Mutsun territory in central California. This fellowship brought together an exceptional group of Indigenous Women of Color leaders, representing a wide range of tribes and lands. Over the course of their time together, these women fostered a deep sense of kinship, exchanging wisdom, stories, and the invaluable knowledge they carry from their communities. We are grateful to have supported their leadership journey and are hopeful that the trail they have blazed will continue to inspire and create space for future gatherings and opportunities for Indigenous women leadership.
