Since 1992 Leadership Triangle has brought together current and emerging leaders to build bridges across Wake, Chatham, Durham and Orange counties as well as across the public, private and civic sectors. Our alumni are passionate and inspired...working to improve the Region's Communities while encouraging excellence in thought-leadership. Leadership Triangle trains and coaches highly engaged and inspired professionals through regional and leadership development classes, forums and annual seminars. We strive to build leadership capacity that preserves local uniqueness while acting regionally to deal with issues such as rapid growth, housing affordability, sustainable agriculture, school funding, economic and social equity and transit.

  • ??Introducing the 2025 Executive Goodmon Fellows! Leadership Triangle is pleased to introduce the 16 graduates of our Executive Leadership program. Each graduate joins the lifelong Goodmon Fellowship, now encompassing 1200+ leaders across the Triangle. The Leadership Triangle Executive Program provides a 5-month opportunity for C-level executives to meet and learn from other top executives and community leaders. Our cohorts include executives new to the region or in new positions alongside individuals who have been building and working in the Triangle for decades. Engaging in conversations addressing key regional issues gives each participant a better understanding of their greater responsibility to the Triangle region and new connections to other leaders in comparable positions.   • This week, Leadership Triangle is partnering with?CIRCLE?(a research/civic engagement unit at Tufts University) on a study titled?Young People’s Civic Engagement in Low Media Ecosystem Communities.?Chatham County is one of a few counties in the country where young adult voter turnout is higher than you would expect for the existing media ecosystem, and the Tufts team wants to try to understand why. They're hoping to?interview?15-30 young adults through focus group?discussions, defined as anyone between 18-29 years of age. We have a few slots left this Thursday, March 6th.   • This month, we are proud to spotlight Kimberly Sanchez, Executive Director/CEO of Community Home Trust and a 2023 Goodmon Fellow. Community Home Trust provides permanently affordable homeownership opportunities to individuals and families who work in service to this community. Kimberly's core values are integrity, transparency, and fun. In her words: "I also understand that people who work for nonprofits are helpers, and they can put others before themselves, so I try very hard to create a culture that gives staff the flexibility they need to live their lives outside of their jobs.
