This 12-week leadership development fellowship aims to provide emerging leaders with the essential knowledge, skills, and network to thrive in nonprofit leadership positions. Since we launched in 2015, almost 600 fellows from more than 250 local and national?New York nonprofits?have graduated and received a certificate of completion from?the?Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College and its Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management through the?Leadership Fellows program. If your organization has received a grant from The New York Community Trust within the last three years,?you are eligible to nominate a talented staff member to our leadership development program!?Our foundation partners cover all expenses, so participating in our program incurs no charge to either the organization or the applicant. Program Overview: This program provides mid-career nonprofit professionals with the knowledge, skills, and tools required to manage and lead organizations effectively in an ever-changing environment. Participants will gain a deep understanding of nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, financial management, communications, and fundraising.
