Einan's at Sunset also has a big update. “After 30 years in the funeral home business—18 of which were developing Hillcrest Funerals and Cremation—Blaze and Adrianna Titus decided it was time to retire to spend more time with family, pursue other passions, and participate in a mission,” explained Holley Sowards, Director of Operations for Einan’s Funeral Homes, “We were honored that they not only invited us to participate in the bidding process but chose us because they believed we hold the same values— commitment to the community, exceptional service, and the desire to find a way to serve every family.”

Thank you to our November First Friday speakers! We had an insightful conversation with Laurie Jackson - the CEO of Tri-Cities Chaplaincy. During the talk, we learned that they have helped over 954 hospice patients in 2023 and clocked over 4,893 volunteer hours. The Mission of Tri-Cities Chaplaincy is to "guide our community members to live their best lives, even and especially through the end of life." Also, a special thank you to Reza Kaleel, the Chief Executive Officer of Kadlec, for being a sponsor and sharing his insights during the lunch. Kadlec, a pillar of our community since 1944, with over 4,000 caregivers and volunteers, continues to serve the people of Mid-Columbia, connecting us all in a shared mission of care and service.
