An organization of activated business leaders with a commitment to restoring democracy.
关于我们
The Leadership Now Project is a membership organization of business professionals concerned about the future of our democracy. Traditional models of giving to causes, candidates, and parties are insufficient for the challenges we face. A more strategic approach is required. Leadership Now Project enables its members to strategically engage and invest in politics. We focus on the threats to the fundamentals of democracy that prevent principled leaders and meaningful policy from advancing. Issues including low voter turnout, gerrymandering, campaign finance rules, and a lack of highly qualified candidates are problems that require immediate attention as well as a long-term focus. Members are diverse in their political views, professions, racial and ethnic backgrounds but are united by the belief that galvanized America’s founders, E Pluribus Unum - out of many, one.

It’s striking that the President now considers The Wall Street Journal as much of a threat as traditionally center or left-leaning outlets like The New York Times or CNN. The real issue? These news organizations have editorial boards willing to challenge the President’s decisions, hold a different opinion or contest the misinformation he spreads. At Leadership Now Project, we recognize that democracy depends on a free press, the free exchange of ideas, and accountability for our leaders. It’s encouraging to see The Wall Street Journal uphold its role.

America First should not put Russia second. For the good of both countries and for the cause of freedom, it is vital that the United States and Ukraine get back on track. https://lnkd.in/g29pyzdD

Americans believe in freedom and democracy, even if our President increasingly shows disdain for it. We can all help reinforce that messsage in our own way. Important to have credible nonpartisan sources like Council on Foreign Relations make clear the unnecessary and significant risks the administration is creating. Leadership Now Project
"The forty-seventh president remains more focused on the alleged shortcomings of America’s friends than on standing up to a predatory power that threatens U.S. interests. That is a recipe for a more dangerous world," writes James M. Lindsay.
