Leadership Lorain County is a 501 c3 nonprofit in Lorain County Ohio. LLC cultivates a diverse network of innovative leaders who envision what the county and region can be, empower themselves and others to deliver positive change, and expand their awareness of community issues and resources. Through the signature leadership program, the internship program, and board and organization training, LLC participants experience both personal and professional growth opportunities. These opportunities enhance their leadership roles as they engage in service that transforms our county into a stronger more effective community in the region. OUR MISSION The mission of Leadership Lorain County is to develop and advance leaders who support the growth and diversity of our county by directing initiatives to connect the people, government, academia and businesses of Lorain County. “Each year our Signature Class members, alumni, and volunteers donate hundreds of hours of their time working to improve the community in which we live.” OUR VISION Leadership Lorain County will be the primary resource to connect the hearts of business, education and philanthropy throughout our region. We are dedicated to developing life-long leaders, passionate about improving the vitality of the county, able to lead initiatives within the dynamics of our community, all while helping their own organizations become a valued partner in the resurgence of Lorain County.

??Signature Class Highlight! Let's shine the spotlight on "Best Class of 1989" members of which celebrated their 35th LLC anniversary this year! Did you know that one of their class projects was to develop and produce a video on the first Habitat for Humanity house renovated in our area? It was used for a marketing campaign for Habitat at the time. They also established the Task Force for Domestic Violence, from which a Rape Crisis Brochure was developed. ??Do you have a memory from this class or one of its 32 class members?
