We need your help to recognize fellow graduates who have made significant contributions to our community by nominating them for our prestigious annual awards. The nomination deadline is March 31st. Award Categories: Service Award: Honors alumni who have demonstrated leadership in creating positive change, inspiring greater involvement, and supporting others, making a notable difference in the community. Leadership Award: Recognizes alumni who have strengthened community groups to achieve long-term benefits, contributed significantly to social, economic, or environmental aspects, and united various organizations for shared outcomes. Ruth B. Crawford Achievement Award: Celebrates leaders whose legacy inspires sustainable positive change in the community, regardless of their affiliation with Leadership Augusta. This award is granted at the discretion of the Awards Committee and is not presented annually. Leadership Augusta is proud to announce that Dr. Katrina Hutchins and Ashley Whitaker will serve as Co-Chairs for the Youth Leadership Augusta Class of 2026! ?? Meet Your Leaders: ?? Dr. Katrina Hutchins (Class of 2025) – Founder & President of Re-Source Solutions, specializing in leadership development and organizational growth. A Certified Personal & Executive Coach, accomplished author and speaker, and advocate for youth empowerment, she leads initiatives like the Voice Leadership Camp. Dr. Katrina holds a Doctorate in Education from Northeastern University and resides in Grovetown. ?? Ashley Whitaker (Class of 2025) – Director of the Columbia County School District Foundation, with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and marketing. She has played a key role in major fundraising efforts, including raising over $500,000 for JA of Georgia’s JA Discovery of the CSRA. Ashley holds a Master of Public Administration and a Nonprofit Management Certificate from Augusta University, and she lives in Summerville.
