I focus on being accessible, listening actively, and fostering an environment of constructive feedback and open communication. My goal is for colleagues to want to be part of the team - not feel like they have to be. Creating that sense of belonging is what true leadership is about." "Mike Alexander, CEO of British Gas/Centrica, was someone I deeply admired early in my career. As Sales Director under Mike, I learned the value of clarity, trust, and empowerment. He set clear expectations, trusted me to deliver, and never micromanaged, even in challenging times. Mike was always there in the background, ready to support when needed. His mantra that success hinges on two factors - agility and flexibility - has guided my career ever since." ?? On Being a Role Model at LRG:? "As part of the LRG Executive team, I prioritise spending time with our branches and offices. These visits are a chance for our staff to connect directly, ask questions, challenge ideas, and share their own. In return, I get to communicate LRG’s ambitions and the vital role our people play in achieving them. "Our people are our greatest asset - without them, we have nothing. I’ve learned so much from my experiences across industries by listening, applying, and sharing.
