Life is a marathon, not a sprint—and CJ’s Grandma Lizzie Moss lived every step with purpose and grace. She made it to 95, determined not to be worried to death or taken out by foolishness. Her wisdom, strength, and resilience continue to inspire CJ every day. This Women’s History Month, we honor her legacy and the lessons she passed down. ?? #WomensHistoryMonth #LegacyOfStrength #FamilyRoots

L.E.A.D.'s mission is to empower Black youth to overcome crime, poverty, and racism through sport based development.
关于我们
L.E.A.D.'s mission is to empower an at-risk generation to lead and transform their City of Atlanta. Through the power of sport, L.E.A.D. uses baseball to educate and empower the city's most vulnerable students on how to overcome three curveballs they face in life: crime, poverty and racism. Our Pathway2Empowerment is a year round program model for 350 students in Atlanta Public Schools that focuses on four pillars: athletics, education, civic engagement and commerce. These pillars are wrapped in our six organizational core values: excellence, humility, integrity, loyalty, stewardship and teamwork. The Ambassadors who graduate from L.E.A.D. are civically engaged, compassionate leaders who are prepared to make a positive impact in the community and in any industry they choose.

Using the Hello Insight platform, we measure social-emotional learning (SEL) capacities through youth-driven surveys—helping us understand their unique needs and the impact of our programming. ??? By listening to their voices, we continue to create meaningful, growth-focused experiences! #LEADCenterForYouth #YouthVoice #SELGrowth #HelloInsight

This Women's History Month, we celebrate the grandmothers whose love and wisdom shape generations. Elizabeth Dunn, CJ's paternal grandmother, embodied work ethic—excellence, humility, integrity, loyalty, stewardship, and teamwork. Her home was his refuge, where he fell in love with baseball and learned invaluable life lessons. The Stewart family's membership at Elizabeth Baptist Church is one of her many lasting legacies. #WomensHistoryMonth #LegacyOfStrength #FamilyRoots

Social and emotional learning (SEL) develops emotional intelligence essential for youth to thrive—on and off the field. As we celebrate National SEL Week, we recognize the critical role SEL plays in shaping confident, goal-oriented, and resilient young leaders. At L.E.A.D. Center For Youth, we actively measure and monitor SEL capacities in our student-athletes. Through sports-based youth development, we equip young people with the skills they need to succeed in school, careers, and life. Join us in celebrating the power of SEL in preparing youth for a brighter future! #SELWeek #SkillsForSuccess #LEADCenterForYouth
