关于我们
In a serendipitous encounter at Stanford GSB back in March 2022, Sandeep Padhye and Sofia Toteva ignited a spark of innovation that would go on to become the LEAD Innovation Tour. This exceptional gathering is run by (and for) Stanford LEAD participants/alumni. Our mission is to foster Learning, Engagement, Acceleration, and Disruption, we've realized that it's essential for us to come together more frequently, not just for professional growth, but for the sheer joy of exploring the boundless realm of innovation as a vibrant community. The LEAD Innovation Tour unites LEADers from across the globe, creating a tapestry of connections and opportunities to harness the knowledge gained from the LEAD program. We're not content with just learning; we want to turn these learnings into action. By venturing into innovation hubs spanning continents, we absorb the wisdom of diverse cultures, adapt it to address the needs of our respective societies, and simultaneously open the doors for local innovation hubs and companies to tap into the rich expertise of our Global LEADers for their unique challenges. In essence, the LEAD Innovation Tour is more than an event, it's a dynamic platform where knowledge, culture, and innovation converge to create a ripple effect of transformation, transcending borders and shaping the future of global innovation. A couple of weeks ago, Singapore was buzzing with something special—the energy of over 100 Stanford LEADers, all converging from 22 countries for the @Stanford LEAD Innovation Tour 2024. From the very first gathering, I could feel the excitement in the air, as leaders from across the globe met face-to-face—some for the first time, others reuniting after last year’s tour in Tokyo, and others after months of virtual connections. What started as names and faces on a screen quickly transformed into meaningful conversations, laughter, and new friendships. Together, we spent three days interacting with some of Singapore's most innovative organizations including EXEO Global Pte Ltd, TüV SüD, QUIKBOT TECHNOLOGIES, ByteDance, SC Ventures by Standard Chartered, OMRON Industrial Automation APAC, Ella by Crown Digital IO, BIOTRONIK, Group-IB and Google, each a beacon of what’s possible in technology, agility, sustainability, and leadership. These site visits and the fireside chats on Clean Energy Entrepreneurship with Tham Chee Aun (Founder/ Group CEO Ditrolic Energy) moderated by Dr. Valerie Speth (Managing Director, BlackRock); Startup Investing and Advisory with Ghanshyam Ahuja (Founder and Managing Partner ThinKuvate), and Kiren Kumar (Deputy Chief Executive Development at IMDA Infocomm Media Development Authority) who spoke about Singapore's phenomenal success as a technology hub weren’t just impressive— they sparked powerful conversations about the future we want to build and the roles we each play in creating it. One of many memorable moments was Roman Matla's chat on the invaluable role of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and strong positive company culture on the performance and success of organizations. With shared ideas and the opportunity to challenge perspectives, each session reminded me of the profound impact that collective wisdom and open minds can have. Very many thanks to the organizing team: Sofia Toteva, Vishal Dass Bambha ??, Phoram Mehta, Sachio Nishioka, Abhishek Kaul, Asya (Astghik) Dallakyan, Jen T., CISSP , Laura Ryan, Ananya Mukherjee, Kanishka Sharma, Saurabh Arya, Nikunj Arora @debbie go, Swapnil Kumkar (MBA, CSPO?, CSM?, CBAP?, PMP?) @joshua Ng, Jing Xieng JX Han, Rishi Tandon, Himmat Singh, Anuprita Bhomick, Bhavna Taneja and Luiz F. P. who brought this experience to life, and whose dedication and hard work created an atmosphere where inspiration and learning thrived. As I look back, I’m filled with gratitude for the brilliant people I met and the fresh perspectives gained. This wasn’t just a visit but a journey into the heart of innovation and limitless possibilities. Here’s to the partnerships formed, the ideas sparked, and the exciting road ahead. I am already counting down to Innovation Tour 2025! Where next?

It takes a village to succeed ?? Ten days after the end of the third edition of our LEAD Innovation Tour event in Singapore, it's high time I sit down to reflect and thank everyone who made it such a remarkable success. Every day, I kept telling myself, “Today is the day I’ll sit down and write about the event, thank all the people who made it such a huge success.” But then a new email, phone call, Workplace, WhatsApp and social media message would pop up on my screen, and I barely had time to read and respond. I decided to focus on the moment and the people who wanted to share their thoughts and excitement with me. I’d rather not retell the event myself, as I believe it's more meaningful to hear others share their thoughts on what we’ve accomplished—it offers a more objective and insightful perspective. I encourage you to explore the many posts on the event’s page LEAD Innovation Tour, where you can see firsthand the impact it had. However, what I do want to say, on behalf of myself and Sandeep Padhye, is a big thank you to all 100+ participants who traveled from around the world to be with us and to learn something new about how innovation happens in the areas-social, tech, and AI in this miracle of a country Singapore. A special thanks to our Project Lead, Vishal Dass Bambha ??, and the incredible team of volunteers we were fortunate to have onboard this year: Phoram Mehta, Sachio Nishioka, Kanishka Sharma, Rishi Tandon, Laura Ryan, Himmat Singh, Asya (Astghik) Dallakyan, Ananya Mukherjee, Abhishek Kaul, Joshua Ng, Jen T., CISSP Nikunj Arora, Abhishek Kaul, Han JX (Jing Xieng), Bhavna Taneja, LUIZ Povoas, Anuprita Bhomick, Saurabh Arya, Kesinee Angkustsiri Yip (?????? ???????????? she/her), Debbie W. Go (伍彩蓮). A very special thank you to: EXEO Global Pte Ltd for the warm welcome and for hosting our event! To the 14 companies that opened their doors to us To the speakers who shared invaluable insights To Weaving Happiness : One stitch at a time! and Yellow Ribbon Singapore To Peter DeMarzo, who, despite his busy schedule, found the time to record a video message to congratulate us! Marineh Lalikian, Jessica Lum, Jeff Hungerford and Ming Chu for their kind words and continuous support. I’m also grateful to my colleagues with whom I’m co-writing the book IMPACT, and who gave me a platform Impact by LEAD to share my ideas on Purposeful Travel and Tourism. This has allowed me to see LEAD Innovation Tour initiative from angles I hadn’t considered when we started it in 2022. I can't wait to see where next year’s event will take us. If you're a Stanford LEAD participant or alumnus interested in hosting our event in 2025, we would love to hear from you! Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected]. Wishing everyone a successful week!

A Reunion of Innovation and Connection! I’ve just returned from an incredible experience at the Stanford LEAD Innovation Tour 2024 in Singapore. It’s been a journey of learning and reconnecting with a community that has grown immensely over the years—from ~90 Pioneers in 2015 to over 5,000 strong LEADers. This tour was extra special for me, having been part of the first cohort when Stanford LEAD launched in 2015. The last time I connected with this vibrant community was during the 2016 Stanford LEAD Me2We event, and this time around, I’ve committed to stay connected and continue to contribute to this global network. Over 100 LEADers from 22 countries came together to discuss Social Innovation, Sustainability, and Entrepreneurship. We visited some of the most forward-thinking companies and exchanged ideas that will undoubtedly shape the future of industries. Thank you to Vishal Dass Bambha and Sofia Toteva for organizing such an inspiring event! Your efforts in bringing us all together were truly remarkable, and I’m deeply grateful for the connections I’ve built and renewed over these three days. The highlight?was visiting the Singapore Prison Service and hearing about the transformative Yellow Ribbon Project—a reminder that true innovation isn’t just about technology but humanity and second chances. This journey has been eye-opening, and the relationships formed are just as invaluable as the knowledge gained. I am grateful and excited for what’s ahead.
