Maximillian Obasiolu, founder of #ALGAlum company Lead-In Record Co., was recently featured in Technical.ly's "How I Got Here" series, where he shared insights on building his hardware startup in Pittsburgh. After earning a dual master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Maximilllian stayed in the area due to its strong robotics scene and support from programs like the Expanded Pathways to Entrepreneurship project. Lead-In Record Co. aims to revolutionize vinyl manufacturing using robotic processes, with plans to launch in Summer 2025. Today is Cesar’s last day with us after 8 weeks. As a mechanical engineering intern, he designed/implemented new processes into our manufacturing workflow! More importantly, he embodied our mission of empowering independent artists! Next stop for him: NASA ??????

Lead-In Record Co. is an end-to-end vinyl record manufacturing service for independent artists. It takes up to 12 months for artists to get their records made, they do it in 1 week.
