SOUTH DADE TRANSIT OPERATIONS CENTER UPDATE: As part of the NV2A-Dragados Team, LEAD is fast approaching the completion of our on-site underground work at a record pace! Here's what we've accomplished so far: ?? Installed over 4,500 LF of drainage ?? Installed over 2,700 LF of sanitary sewer ?? Installed over 5,400 LF of water main In addition, our team completed all the site clearing and demolition and has placed more than 49,000 CY of embankment, driving this challenging and rewarding project forward with precision and efficiency. LEAD successfully completed its contract work for the Town of Bay Harbor Islands in Miami-Dade County, finishing 3.5 months ahead of schedule. The project involved a full retrofit of the bridge superstructure using Ultra High Performance Concrete, installation of new polymer nosing at each bent, and new saddle supports for the water main crossing. Extensive coordination with key stakeholders, including Bal Harbour, FDOT, and Surfside, was also a critical aspect of the project. To showcase our commitment to performance for Broward County and FDOT, LEAD has successfully completed most of the underground work, including drainage, water main, and signal and electrical installations within the future roadway footprint at our $48M Bypass Road Project. Work related to the final roadway configuration is now underway. Additionally, we have completed the demonstration and test pile program for our auger cast piles, clearing the way for the production piles of our 11-span bridge. This achievement marks a significant milestone on a project that is advancing well ahead of schedule. Thanks to our Port Everglades Bypass Road Team for their commitment to quality and success !

Lead Engineering Contractors, LLC is making great progress under the NV2A/DRAGADOS team on the South Dade Transit Operations Center. We have started all the underground work while progressing the building pads and backfill at various locations within the Project footprint. Keep up the good work!
