?? Mountainous terrain creates extra challenges for transmission line construction, but it doesn’t stand in our way. With careful planning, coordination, and teamwork we successfully rebuilt 18 miles of 500kV transmission through the mountains of Virginia. “This has probably been one of the most unique and challenging projects of my entire lineworking career, and I started back in 1984,” said our Senior Operations Manager Michael Comisford. The L.E. Myers Co. proudly hosted its 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, benefiting the remarkable Wounded Warrior Project. ? We were honored to have chosen Wounded Warrior Project as our recipient for the second consecutive year. We hosted 100 golfers and raised and donated more than $46,000 contributing significantly to the Wounded Warrior Project’s mission to provide mental health support, career counseling, long-term rehabilitative care, and advocacy for veterans’ welfare. Storm season has ravaged communities across the country this year, causing catastrophic damage that hasn’t been seen in decades – if ever before. From Hurricane Beryl?in Texas this summer to the most recent storms in Hurricanes Helene and Milton in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas, L.E.
