As the week approaches when our thoughts immediately turn to showing thanks for all that we have in our lives, it's important to remember there is a softer side to productivity that can help efficiency in the workplace. Small actions of thanks and gratitude can go a long way, and especially in today’s challenging times, we can all use some extra care, appreciation, and thanks in our work. Here are five thanksgiving-inspired productivity tips: 1?? Think of others' needs - Consider what information would help others efficiently perform their work. It only takes a few moments for you to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and taking others’ time and energy into consideration while you work will help you focus on working more efficiently. 2?? Hone your skills - Learn how to properly use the programs, software, or tools that are critical to your work. Use this an opportunity to present yourself to others as a knowledgeable and competent individual who is serious about their work. 3?? Acknowledge disruptions - Things don’t always go to plan and it's important to let others know in advance. If something is out of your control, make sure to address it immediately. Acknowledgement and communication have the power to save others time and money, and freedom from stress and headaches. 4?? Keep your word - Following through on your word is a sign of strength. If you say you’ll do something, appropriately follow through on it. Avoid making promises, offering time, or stating actions you absolutely cannot deliver on. This is a cornerstone to building a solid reputation around your organization and making a strong impression on others. 5?? Show gratitude everyday - You don’t have to wait until the holiday season to show your thanks. Express gratitude to others through words of thanks, by writing personalized thank you notes, or by helping out on small tasks without being asked. Acknowledge accomplishments, perform a positive business review, or celebrate a recently completed team project. #leadershiptips #leadership #culture #team #excellence

The most successful companies foster a culture that inspires innovation, dedication, collaboration, and enthusiasm. So how do you create a culture that sustains your best talent and has new recruits lining up at the door? Here are 4 powerful tips to build the foundation of a culture that will help your organization, and employees, thrive: 1?? Define your values. People want to believe that they are part of something meaningful and they are contributing to a common purpose. Articulate your values explicitly and intentionally so that your employees are clear and feel good about what they are doing. 2?? Be authentic. True organizational buy in and alignment comes from authenticity and transparency. Your purpose and values must be genuine and leadership seen to be accessible and accountable. By ensuring top down commitment to act within the organizational you can set the stage to earn the trust of your employees and help people buy into the process. 3?? Accept and learn from mistakes. How leadership handles mistakes can reinforce or undermine an organizational culture. A great place to start is openly acknowledging that mistakes will happen. Strong leaders are able to admit that even they will make mistakes. Take the time to analyze mistakes in the context of your core purpose and values. 4?? Watch trends. Organizations are never static, and neither is the process of creating a culture change. The goal is to create momentum in a positive direction. Once that happens, your engagement surveys, trust indicators, retention and hiring numbers, start to dramatically improve. Be on the lookout for tell tale signs that it's time to reinvigorate your culture. Part of the iterative process must include frequently revisiting and revising your value system. #leadershiptips #leadership #team #culture #excellence

The power of leadership is the power to influence and motivate people to change, grow, and achieve common goals. It starts with growing and leading ourselves and extends to helping others on their leadership journeys. A true leader not only understands the path to a goal but actively takes that path themselves, while also guiding and supporting others to follow along, essentially leading by example. #leadershiptips #leadership #culture #team #excellence

???? Honoring Our #VeteranLeadership and Commitment to #AmericanManufacturing ???? On this Veterans Day, we proudly recognize the strength, dedication, and service of six members of our leadership team who are former U.S. Army Officers — including Army Rangers, members of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment, and a Battalion Commander. Their experiences in service have shaped their commitment to integrity, resilience, and mission-driven leadership, values that now drive our work and commitment to American Manufacturing. At LDR, #service is a core value that extends beyond our people and into our purpose. Our commitment to American manufacturing is one way we uphold this value, supporting our nation’s economy and strengthening local industries. Our leaders, forged in the discipline and dedication of military service, bring the same commitment to revitalizing American-made products, supporting domestic supply chains, and championing the future of U.S. manufacturing. Today, we honor not only our team but all veterans who have dedicated themselves to a purpose greater than themselves. We are grateful for your sacrifices, strength, and unwavering spirit, which inspire us daily in our mission to build a stronger American manufacturing sector. Thank you for your service.???
