Just wrapped up an incredible experience at the 2025 ElectriCities Connections Summit! ??? It was an amazing opportunity to connect with the neighboring cities around our Charlotte office and dive into the challenges and innovations shaping the future of electric power. We are excited to announce our partnership with the City of Alcoa! We're currently helping the City of Alcoa by reviewing Joint Usage Applications submitted by various service providers. Our job is to make sure these providers are following all the necessary regulations and guidelines. This is important because it helps ensure that the City’s power infrastructure stays up to code with both state and federal requirements. By carefully reviewing these applications, we’re making sure everything stays compliant, safe, and efficient. This process ultimately helps protect the City’s energy systems and makes sure that both the infrastructure and the community are well taken care of for the long run.

On Wednesday, several of our team members had the opportunity to attend a NC Chamber member roundtable at the newly opened NASCAR Production Studio. During the event, we engaged in discussions about key issues influencing the 2025 legislative agenda. Chambers of Commerce play a crucial role in bringing together the public and private sectors to advocate for policies that foster economic growth and business success. Strengthening these partnerships promotes a collaborative approach to addressing challenges and creating opportunities that benefit both businesses and communities.
