The Immigrant Safety Plan document is a collective community resource to help parents plan for the care of their child(ren) (with or without status) in the event that a parent is unable to care for their child, particularly if the parent is detained or deported. She attended the University of Washington School of Law and served as an Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Law Review and Chair of Diversity & Inclusion. MIE is a nonprofit organization that advances best practices and innovation in the legal aid community. Read more here:

We are thrilled to be featured in the 2024 Microsoft Pro Bono Report! Microsoft Pro Bono Champions have supported the digital transformation of our process to draft petitions for youth seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) classification. These improvements have resulted in a reduction of approximately 35% in time volunteers need to craft petitions. Learn more in their report: https://lnkd.in/gdQHcWBp
