Our team was honored to attend the groundbreaking ceremony yesterday for the new William R. Byars Jr. Treatment Center in Columbia, a project we are proud to be part of! The psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) will provide much-needed mental health services for underserved youth in the juvenile justice system throughout South Carolina. LCK looks forward to working closely with the SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH to design and build a psychiatric facility which will serve our communities for years to come. We are proud to share that Hood Construction, Benedict College, BOUDREAUX, and LCK, received a Preservation Award at the 2024 South Carolina Historic Preservation Awards for our work at Morgan Hall at Benedict College Historic District! Each year Historic Columbia awards notable examples of preservation, rehabilitation, and restoration projects that have maintained or added to Columbia and Richland County’s historical, architectural, and cultural heritage.
