Last week, we had the honor of accepting an award from our friends at The League of Human Dignity for our 15 years of support for their annual Benefit Golf Event. A big thank you to the League for this recognition! Each year, we look forward to participating in this event that supports the rights and quality of life of people with disabilities. We’re thankful for the opportunity to contribute and celebrate our shared values.

Lazlo, Inc. is proud to announce Nathan Foote as our 2023 Manager of the Year! Nathan began his career with us over 11 years ago at Lazlo’s South. Always willing to listen, Nathan provides his team with consistent leadership, training, and feedback, enabling them to achieve their financial goals and promote the Lazlo, Inc. brand and culture. Not only that, but Nathan has a sense of humor and positivity that could put a smile on anyone’s face. We are honored to have him serve as such an integral part of our team.

Lazlo’s Haymarket is excited to announce our 2023 Employee of the Year, Evelyn Clark! Over the course of her 4 years with us, Evelyn has learned almost every position in the kitchen and earned the title of Associate Back of House Manager. In her free time, she loves sci-fi and fantasy books, but while she’s here, she is striving to meet not only the Lazlo, Inc. standards, but her own as well. Her upbeat and positive personality encourages the team around her, and she is the first person to offer help to those who need it. The Haymarket kitchen wouldn’t be the same without her. We are excited to see her continue to grow with us! Evelyn's favorite thing about Lazlo's? "Just the people. Great people. That's really what Lazlo's means to me."

We are proud to announce Byron Harder as the Lazlo’s Omaha Employee of the Year! Byron is punctual, professional, and willing to help wherever he is needed. Whether he’s putting away a truck, placing supplier orders, or running takeout, he upholds Lazlo’s standards and strives for success. As an Associate Back of House Manager, he’s earned not only a leadership role within the restaurant, but the respect of the entire team. The Lazlo’s South Employee of the Year is none other than Brenda Williams! Brenda has been an outstanding member of the Lazlo’s tribe for the past 17 years. Many of you who frequent the South location will already know who she is, as Brenda has always had a knack for developing personal relationships with her guests. She’s passionate about upholding the highest standard for both herself and her teammates, and she genuinely cares about the people that she serves. Brenda commands respect with her tell-it-like-it-is attitude, which, combined with her positive outlook and stellar work ethic, motivates others to be their absolute best. Whether she’s coaching newer staff on the job or helping someone work through obstacles in their personal life, she’s never been one to sit idly by while anyone is struggling. Brenda is a rock to many, staff and guests alike, and is an integral part of what makes Lazlo’s South so special. "What does Lazlo’s mean to me? Lazlos is my LIFE! I’ve worked at Lazlo's South for 21 years so it has been my second home for half my life! I have met the most amazing people working there both employees and guests! Some of my closest friends I have now are employees or former employees of South! Our guests at South are the absolute best! There are to many regulars to give shout outs to but they are all amazing and keep me and the rest of us doing what we do! We wouldn’t do it without them! There is so much I could say about what Lazlo’s means to me but when the question is asked I always think FAMILY! So many great people are in my life today because of Lazlo’s!
