Our health care experts treat patients with the most modern medical technology available in the Merrimack Valley.
关于我们
Lawrence General Hospital proudly serves the Merrimack Valley as an independent, non-profit community hospital. One of the largest employers in the area, it is home to more than 180 licensed inpatient beds, about 500 registered nurses, and 450 physicians with privileges. Our team believes in delivering the highest quality health care possible and our list of accreditations verifies that commitment. Housing the most advanced surgical center in the area, Lawrence General provides its team with the best resources available to not only excel in diverse clinical scenarios, but to also extend the career paths for our doctors, nurses, technicians, and other staff. Outside of our main campus in Lawrence, our community hospital also provides ambulatory services at several clinics in Andover, Lawrence, North Andover, and Methuen. Primary care, weight management, laboratory, imaging, OB/GYN, physical therapy, and women’s health are just some of the many growing services we offer in the outpatient environment. In some cases, given Lawrence’s diverse and challenged community, the hospital cares for a vulnerable population. This offers a very unique experience of providing care for patients of higher acuity. These clinical experiences allow our clinicians to practice in scenarios that are as challenging as they are rewarding. Home to one of the busiest Emergency Centers in Massachusetts with over 70,000 visits per year, our emergency and critical care teams are prepared for nearly anything. Our organization stresses the importance of continued education, as we have a robust nursing professional development program. It is not uncommon to find one of our nurses serving as a preceptor. Lawrence General is also home to 40 residents through the Greater Lawrence Family Medicine Residency Program. Contact Human Resources at 978-946-8059 or visit www.lawrencegeneral.org/careers.

Lawrence General is so proud to be spreading the word about our life-saving whole blood transfusion program. Our expert paramedics (like Ryan Mueller, here teaching firefighters from the Pelham Fire Department) are part of the second EMS agency in the state certified to carry whole blood on their ambulances. In addition to serving our Merrimack Valley coverage area, Lawrence General's team has the ability to travel up to 30 minutes or 30 miles across the state to offer transfusions to trauma patients in need. When seconds count, we're here to serve you! ( ??courtesy: Southern NH Chamber of Commerce)
