Our talented high school students in Mrs. Sternad's DIY class have been hard at work crafting stunning, custom cutting boards. Over four weeks, they learned to use a variety of woodworking tools, from table saws to sanders, to create unique pieces using hardwoods like classic maple and exotic zebrawood. "The boards are beautiful," Mrs. Sternad said. "I'm amazed at the amount of care and work each student put into creating their cutting board. Lawrence School's chapter of the National Honor Society made a paw-sitive impact on local animal shelters with their recent pet donation drive! Over 300 items, including non-perishable food, cat litter, leashes, and toys, were collected. A special shoutout to the Red Commons for winning the donation competition and a pancake breakfast with over 125 items! Thank you to everyone who donated!
