In just a year and a half since LSDA's founding, we grew to over 500 members, launched?three Voter Protection Fellowships, built partnerships with state parties across the country, and put in countless hours of canvassing and voter protection work. Exciting news for LSDA members in Pennsylvania! LSDA is partnering with the Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaign to sponsor a Voter Protection Fellow to work from September (starting ASAP) through the election. The Fellow will work directly with the PA Coordinated team part-time and receive a stipend of $1,500 from LSDA as support. Applications are now open for the LSDA Fall 2024 Voter Protection Fellow in Georgia. For those of you based in Atlanta, we're partnering with the Democratic Party of Georgia to sponsor a Voter Protection Fellow to work from the beginning of September through the election. You'll be working directly with the DPG's?Voter Protection Team part-time for 10 hours per week and receive a stipend of $1,500 from LSDA as support.? ? The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has launched a Voter Protection Coordinator program: a 3-5 hour per week commitment through November 15th for current law students to help safeguard the integrity of the voting process for a Democratic US House campaign in a pivotal swing district. Owen Tanner-Flomberg, LSDA's Voter Protection Fellow in Kentucky last fall, has gone on to do incredible work in the voter protection space including helping to launch this program at the DCCC. We're thrilled to keep this pipeline going! This is an incredible opportunity for law students and young lawyers to grow their skills in voter protection while doing critical work to ensure every vote counts.
