The American Board of Trial Advocates and ABOTA Foundation held great meetings Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It’s an honor to serve as National Secretary and on the Executive Committee. ABOTA is dedicated to preserving the Seventh Amendment’s right to a civil jury trial, protecting the independence of the judiciary, and promoting civility in the profession. Looking forward to ABOTA’s International Relations Commiitte meeting in Frankfurt Germany, and the post-trip to Oktoberfest in Munich. Giant thanks to Christine G. for her work securing tables in the Lowenbrau tent! Good luck to all the chapters who are finalists in the Chapter of the Year Contest. Winner will be announced at tonight’s dinner. Shout out to semi-professional photographer and Immediate Past President Steve Quattlebaum for candid shots at the National Board Meeting. I really am typing notes and Craig Peters is doing a great job as National Treasurer.

Great dinner last night welcoming National ABOTA President A. La’Verne Edney to Chicago. The Illinois ABOTA chapter is honored that she is attending our Luncheon today. Thanks to our officers Timothy S. Tomasik, William J. Rogers, Kevin J. Golden , Sammi Renken, Chris Norem, and Donna Socol, for the great company. Chicago Cut was outstanding. Thank you Tim for making it all happen.

The Law Office of Jill M. Webb, LLC just updated their photos ___ years after the last time we were in their office for photos! I left the ___ blank because I can't remember how long ago our last shoot was. Jill M. Webb it was in 2019, right? Why did I think it was like 10 years ago? Probably because 2019 feels like 10 years ago now. 😂

Congratulations to our founding partner, Jill M. Webb, on once again being named to the Top 100 Illinois Super Lawyer and Top 50 Women Illinois Super Lawyer lists. Its a testament to her hard work, determination, and grit.
