A three-generation family will have a new home in Huntington Station, NY, with the help of?Habitat Long Island and the Lavitt Group volunteer build team. The team donned hardhats and grabbed hammers and saws, helping to build the first Habitat for Humanity project in the Town of Huntington in 17 years. This beautiful new house replaces a dilapidated old house that was torn down and the property donated to Habitat. After a full day of framing work in June, the team returned to the home in October to continue their hard work building this home for single mom Tiffany, her 9 year old daughter, and her mom.
