Images are important to feature in your published materials. In oral communications, you have to develop the imagery or paint the picture so it is succinct and makes your message indelible like a tattoo on the listener's brain.
YA NEVA KNOW WHERE YOUR WORDS FALL......At the annual TZBN/WBN joint summer get-together I overheard someone ask Diana Feinstein how her method of health coaching differed from a very popular and ubiquitous program. She explained her program was like going to a custom tailor while the competition was like buying off the rack. Soooo easily understood. I complimented her on the great simile and asked how she came up with the image. She said she read Anne Miller's book "Make What You Say Pay" that I recommended in one of my newsletters. Knowing that you make an impact is worth so much more than just counting "likes".
