High-tech tools are increasingly marketed to law enforcement, promising to enhance public safety and improve outcomes in the criminal justice system. Yet, many are deployed without sufficient evidence as to their actual effectiveness in reducing crime or improving safety. Arnold Ventures’ latest #BRIDGEseries convening brought together law enforcement, researchers, and practitioners to assess the real-world impact of these technologies. Through collaboration and rigorous evaluation, we aim to optimize resource allocation and ensure that law enforcement tools and technologies deliver measurable improvements in crime prevention and community safety.
