During our YEA program , in collaboration with North River Commission (NRC) and special guest speaker Nicole we held a hands-on job readiness session focused on soft skills, confidence building, and real-world exercises. By providing students with the tools to navigate professional spaces, we’re ensuring they step into their careers feeling prepared and CONFIDENT! ?? New Year, Same Goals, Bigger Impact! We are proud to announce that we are a grantee of the Digital Equity IMPACT Small Grant. Cook County Digital Equity This grant fuels our continued work in the Summit community, driving efforts to move the needle on Digital Equity and make meaningful progress where it all began. For us, this is more than a project – it’s personal. Our CEO, Caroline Sanchez Crozier, hails from Summit, and this initiative reflects her dedication to creating impact in her hometown.

Last week, we had the incredible honor of participating in the inaugural Salvation Army & PROWD Resource Day a groundbreaking initiative led by the University of Illinois System Office of the Vice President for Economic Development and Innovation. PROWD—Partners for Reentry Opportunities in Workforce Development—embodies the mission we champion every day. Empowering individuals through education, workforce development, and community support. Latinx DLN offers digital and financial literacy workshops, equipping individuals re-entering society with tools to navigate technology, build financial confidence, and seize new opportunities in today’s digital economy. We were humbled to collaborate with incredible partners like the The Salvation Army, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to make this event truly impactful. A heartfelt thank you to Nikki Yagoda and the entire team for bringing this vision to life. We’re proud to be part of a collective effort driving equity and opportunity for all. #DigitalEquity #FinancialLiteracy #WorkforceDevelopment
