At the California Transit Association’s Annual Conference, our Executive Director had the pleasure of connecting with some of LIT’s roots—former board members who helped shape our mission and vision. Today, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the public transportation employees who are military veterans. Thank you for your service, sacrifice, and dedication. After serving our country, many veterans have continued their commitment to public service by working in the transit industry, helping to connect communities, improve mobility, and support essential transportation needs. Veterans bring unique skills, leadership, and resilience to the transit industry, ensuring safe and efficient public transportation for all. We are proud to have them as part of our community, continuing to make a positive impact every day.
