? Here’s a look at the 3rd Annual Latinos in IO Psychology Conference in California! ? This past weekend, October 26-27, students, professionals, and academics gathered in Riverside, California, for two days full of inspiration, learning, and building connections and alliances. We presented a workshop titled: I/O Psychology Business Innovations 2024-25: Entrepreneurial Mindset and Business Success Strategies, representing Organizational Behavior LLC and Conducta Organizacional LLC - Ezequiel Cruz-Gutiérrez We also participated in workshops and panels on Artificial Intelligence, DE&I, Business Strategies, and more. The I-O Branding Competition tested everyone’s creativity and passion for I/O Psychology. And we enjoyed networking and collaboration spaces with leaders in the field, opening doors to new opportunities. Special thanks to the founders of Latinos I/O Psychology - Zytlaly Maga?a, M.S. & Alexandra O. who made this event a success. The 2024 Latinos in IO Psychology Conference was a heartwarming success! With each passing conference, and now having completed our 3rd annual conference, my commitment to this incredible community only deepens. Working tirelessly alongside my business partner and dear friend, Alexandra O. has been an absolute labor of love. There’s nothing more empowering than partnering with someone who shares the same passion for serving the LIOP community, and for opening doors to greater representation and inclusion within the field of I-O Psychology. LIOP was honored to host our two keynote speakers Dr. Bernardo Ferdman and José F. Rodríguez, Ph.D. who covered important topics on fostering inclusion for ourselves and others as well as the topic of the wisdom of navigating and embracing failure as a first generation.
