"Latinas are one of the fastest growing, most powerful groups in the United States. Latinas excel in every sector and industry in our country. Despite all of this, on this day, we will highlight the fact that the in 2023, Latinas continued to face the pay gap that is, on average, an abysmal 51 cents to every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. This number includes all Latinas with reported earnings, like part-time, seasonal, and migrant workers. For full-time, year-round workers, the wage gap is 58 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. The wage disparity is a clear reflection of the economic hurdles Latinas continue to encounter." Quote Source: https://lnkd.in/ebgFaW6 #LatinaEqualPay #LatinasInHealthcare #HealthcareLatinas

How you begin does not have to be how you end. Here for the glow up! Congratulations Unc. ??
I wasn’t expecting NBCUniversal?to call me to serve as a superstar commentator at this years summer Olympics in Paris, it really felt like a whole other universe, based off of where I?started, but over the years I felt like I positioned myself for this, showing I’m reliable, professional, that I know what I’m doing, and people love to see me. It’s a lesson: to let the world see growth, how somebody can go from being hated, banned from countries, thrown in jail, to now America’s most lovable person. PEOPLE Magazine | PEOPLE.com

Under the President's budget, we aren't just talking about tackling the maternal health crisis, we're backing it up with some serious investments. As we continue to observe Black Maternal Health Week, drawing attention to these potentially life-saving initiatives is critical.
