? A Day of Style, Confidence, and Career Preparation with Macy's! ? Our L.O.V.E. Mentoring Program mentees had an unforgettable experience at Macy's Herald Square (New York, NY) where they were immersed in a day full of learning, creativity, and inspiration! The day began with a fascinating tour of the iconic store, where our young women learned about Macy’s history and its journey to becoming a leader in fashion and retail. The fun continued with a "Dress to Impress" challenge, where mentees picked out their perfect interview outfits, learning how to present themselves confidently and professionally. The team at Macy’s Makeup and Skincare Department also hosted an interactive session on skincare and makeup essentials, all centered around preparing for that all-important first interview! The event concluded with a powerful panel discussion led by inspiring women from various fields. They shared their career journeys, challenges, and advice with our mentees, leaving them motivated and empowered to pursue their dreams. A huge thank you to the Macy's team! Day of Mentorship and Inspiration at?Tapestry??? Yesterday, our mentees from the L.O.V.E. Mentoring Program had the privilege of visiting Tapestry, where they were warmly welcomed by the company’s ERG group, Juntos Unidos. This unique experience gave our young women a firsthand look into the world of fashion, business, and corporate culture. The day was filled with incredible opportunities—from shadowing Tapestry team members to participating in mentorship sessions with industry professionals. Our mentees gained valuable insights into various career paths, leadership skills, and the power of networking. Beyond the professional exposure, they were also inspired by the stories and journeys of the passionate individuals at Tapestry who shared how they navigated their own careers.
