Bilingual Business & Leadership Consultant | CEO & Founder of Apapacho Cacao + The Latina Owned Collective| Public Speaker | Workshop Facilitator | Heart-Centered Leader
Dia De Las Chingonas was the culmination of all the work I've done since 2020 to uplift, empower, elevate, and celebrate Latina entrepreneurs based in Colorado. My social impact work started off as a simple, but passionate desire to help infuse more wealth into the hands of Latinas. Why Latinas? Because of all the racial groups in the United States, Latinas earn the *least* amount of money and currently hold the largest wealth gap. To me, this is completely unacceptable which is precisely why I decided to launch a bilingual business community designed exclusively to support Latina entrepreneurs. Back in 2020 when the world around me was worried about a virus, I was worried about a different kind of virus. Not the kind that infects your body but rather, the kind that infects your mind. I wanted to help Latinas BELIEVE in their worth again, remember their power, and confidently release their potential which is why I decided to launch my business community in the summer of 2020 and I’ve been growing it ever since. Dia De Las Chingonas was my way of acknowledging and celebrating all of the incredible Latinas based in Colorado who have demonstrated resilience, sisterhood, collaboration, creativity, courage, generosity, and strength even in the face of tremendous adversity, polarization, and racism. And once again I was able to confirm that as Latinas, our hearts are by far our biggest competitive advantage. The wisdom and the strength that emanates from our heart-center is a power that can never be tampered with, it can only be amplified as Love tends to do. No matter what I do with the rest of my career, I will forever remain committed to helping Latinas rediscover their worth, reclaim their power, and release their potential. Our inner Chingona deserves to be released so that we, and those around us, can positively benefit from the reclamation of our highest and best version: Our most Chingona self???? I want to publicly acknowledge, recognize, and thank: Our venue sponsor TARRA, LLC Our event videographer and photographer Marco Briones Catrina Fashion show designer and director Eddie Spanic Coffee caterer Tawny Bridgewater And all the attendees and vendors who made this event a huge success. Con el corazón en las manos, GRACIAS????
