Friendships like these are cultivated through meaningful moments. Recently, I had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful dinner with friends, in Cincinnati, Ohio. We also celebrated Miguel Alema?y’s recent appointment to the Latinas in Tech board! Thank you Miguel for having us! Great seeing Julio Grapa, Lenin Paulino, Juan D Valentin II, Benjamin Gonzalez Vazquez , and Josué. Additionally, we concluded an exceptional tour of The New Riff Distillery. The day was filled with insights into the craft and sampling of exceptional spirits. As a lifetime member of the SHPE familia, I encourage you to consider becoming one as well. For information on individual and major gifts, please reach out to Yajaira De La Paz. We have significant news coming as we celebrate SHPE’s 50th anniversary. This morning’s CCS 'Perspectives on Philanthropy' event featured an incredible lineup of leaders, including Dexter A. Bailey, Jr. (Caltech), Heather Vucetin (Cedars-Sinai), Maria Watson (Pomona College), and all expertly moderated by Aashika Patel (CCS Fundraising). The discussion provided valuable insights into the latest Giving USA data, highlighting both national trends and the regional impact on the Greater LA philanthropic landscape. It was also wonderful to reconnect with Aashika and thank the speakers for their valuable insights. If you missed the event, you can still catch the livestream! Thank you Sarai (Sara) Villagran, Christina Mariscal Pasten, Yajaira De La Paz, & Kenneth L. Jones for attending and supporting the great work that CCS is leading. Glad to represent these incredible communities that Kimberly and I founded Latino Professionals?, Latina Professionals?, & Latinx Professionals?. #Philanthropy #GivingUSA #Leadership #CCSEvent
