The past two months have been full of momentum, and we're thrilled to share two major milestones: 1?? Latimer has been accepted into the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) Accelerate program! A huge thank you to Jade Garrett for the recommendation and to Constance Thompson, CCDP/AP for her support and enthusiasm. Through ACORE, we aim to collaborate with solar asset operators and advocate for policies that advance solar PV dispatchability, reserve forecasting, and interconnection. 2?? We've been awarded another $100,000 Advanced Industries matching grant from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. This funding will support a large utility research pilot as we continue driving innovation in solar PV control performance standards. We're grateful for the support of our partners and excited for what’s ahead. Let’s connect if you're working on solar asset optimization, grid reliability, or renewables forecasting. #RenewableEnergy #SolarPV #GridInnovation #ACORE #LatimerControls

Our newest cohort has returned from Washington, D.C., where U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) convened all incoming LEEP cohorts for a collaborative kickoff event. During this trip, the six West Gate innovators met with their peers from Chain Reaction Innovations, Cyclotron Road, and Innovation Crossroads, fostering connections and sharing insights across a diverse range of #CleanEnergy technologies. In addition to building valuable relationships within the LEEP community, they had the chance to engage directly with DOE leaders and policymakers, gaining deeper insight into how their work aligns with national energy priorities and initiatives. ?? https://lnkd.in/g7Chvgpw

Day 3 of 3 in our MN Cleantech Innovation Summit - pitch day!!! There are dozens of phenomenal moments from today, but let's hit the highlights... ?? This was our first time hosting our Grid Catalyst cohort finalists to pitch in person and it was absolutely tremendous to hear all 9 share their innovations and answer tough questions from the Innovators Network. If you haven't met our 9 finalists yet, please go check them out. All have the potential to be transformative if deployed in Minnesota. https://lnkd.in/gU-_2T6t ?? We spent the afternoon making connections, exploring projects, and touring the St. Thomas Center for Microgrid Research (CMR). A tremendous thanks to Mahmoud Kabalan, PhD, PE and the team at CMR for hosting us today and giving us an inside peek into this internationally-significant facility, right in the heart of Saint Paul. Thanks to Emmett V. Coleman for helping us bring this together at St. Thomas. And thank you again to Full Stack Saint Paul for sponsoring today's event. ??One startup told me "You have really opened my eyes to how much opportunity there is in Minnesota." And that's one of the best things we can hear! ?? And even though it was post-Summit, I have to acknowledge how lovely it was to spend the morning with emerging companies and entrepreneurs and the evening honoring the incredible work of my former boss, Ken Smith, at the Most Admired CEOs dinner. But more about that tomorrow! Thanks again to all the wonderful people who joined us for some part of the Summit, who helped us bring hundreds of people into conversation and partnership this week, who sponsored or supported us, and who are helping us grow this incredible cleantech innovation ecosystem. We are in this together and great things are ahead! #AccelerateNorth #MNCleantechSummit #energy #cleantech #climate #impact #innovation #startups #entrepreneurs #community #Minnesota #MinnesotaEnergyAlley
