    Proud that the Lateral Hub Job Board has officially surpassed 400 (!) job postings. With every job posting on our platform, it is that much more useful for candidates looking for their next move.     If you were a law firm recruiter and told me that you're skeptical about the quality of candidates through direct applications or job boards like Lateral Hub... I would ask you to explain how, over the last 6 months, we have had an offer extended to a candidate *on average every 10 days*. If you told me that good candidates only come through recruiters, I would respond that good candidates never had a good way to apply directly before -- but now they do, and they are. Candidates who have received offers through our platform include associates from V10, V20, V50, federal clerkships, you name it. If you were a lateral candidate and thought you needed help getting to the "top of the pile" (whatever that means), I would respond that we work closely with all of the Lateral Hub member firms and that all applications are going to the right place --- not into some black hole. I would respond that if you got a job through Lateral Hub today, you wouldn't be the first to do so in January...or the second....or the third....... I would respond that you wouldn't even be the first to accept an offer this week. Or last week. So much for the pile. I would respond that firms want to increase their direct hires, and that is why a large portion of the country's top BigLaw and midsize firms are posting jobs on Lateral Hub. That is why firms pay attention to candidates who come through our platform. And that is why more and more firms are getting in touch with us to join. I would respond that there is a reason we have almost 400 jobs posted on the platform. And there is a reason that number keeps growing from the 120 jobs we started with at our launch in August 2022. If you are a top firm looking to hire laterals, it's not whether you can afford to join your peer firms on Lateral Hub (believe me, you can). It's whether you can afford not to.     Got a gift with this note the other day from one of our Lateral Hub users, who has been using the platform as a key resource for his job search. Of course, our job board is an online platform and many of our users love the ability to apply themselves and go through the process independently. Sometimes we find out about a candidate who accepted an offer after the fact (dispelling the common misconception that high-performing lawyers who were type-A their whole lives somehow suddenly need "hand-holding" for their job search). That is fantastic, and we built the platform for candidates to run their job search on *their* terms. But one thing that is important about our business is that we are *real people* behind it. We send recommendations for other jobs that are relevant for the candidate - no, not AI-generated spitback, but real feedback from real people. If a candidate gets in touch to chat about their application or candidacy, we support them throughout the process. For candidates who secure interviews from applications submitted through our platform, we offer free interview prep with one of our expert legal career coaches - a service that many candidates have found very useful. Your application is not going into another generic tech platform black hole... we work directly with the firms on the process to submit candidates correctly. I'm a people person. I started this business because I love helping people with their job search and believed in my heart that we needed more transparency, efficiency, and modernization to the process.
