Late Nite Art

What can you say about an experience that takes your breath away, fills your creative well, and cracks your heart wide open all at once? My eyes brim with tears as I reflect on what we achieved in leading the “Late Nite Art: Corporate Train the Trainer Level One” at the Dalya Estate in Sebastopol, California. Big ups to the Dream Team: Adam Rosendahl, Elizabeth Solomon, Gani Naylor, Christine Juang. Together, we invited 14 leaders for 3 days from orgs such as: Microsoft, Patreon, The University of Texas at Austin, Gainsight, and the Creative Flow School to learn and practice the method and magic behind the global phenomenon that is Late Nite Art. Having led 750+ events for 15,000+ people in 19 countries, Late Nite Art has earned its stripes. And yet even with a next level track record, it is still so hard to explain…but in short, it’s powerful, it’s provocative and it has the potential to change your life. As an Experience Designer & Facilitator, this has been a dream and a true labor of love, designing a training at the highest most intentional level, set on a baller estate and surrounded with beauty from every angle. From the curated meals crafted by private chefs, to the epic morning practices, enriching group rituals, and the masterclass on facilitation + experience design using the arts, every aspect sparkled. For many of us, our creative spirits are buried so deep inside that they feel like a past life or a lost friend. And yet to be human is to create. While so much of the news points to the ways humans destroy our people and planet, there is so much BEAUTY + CREATIVITY + HUMANITY to behold. I set this experience as a multi-faceted gem on the altar of my career and I count myself as incredibly blessed that this is what I spend my time and energy doing. I design experiences that wake people up to their humanity and the majesty of their souls. I help people feel deeply seen, connected and held. I co-create experiences for leaders to remember who they are and to receive deeply so they can return ready to give from the overflow. JOY: This word has been all over the headlines this week. Oxford defines it as "a feeling of great pleasure and happiness." Is it a strategy?
