Machine Cinema organizes some of the coolest in-person generative AI film events. These "Gen Battles" teach people how to use the latest tools and then challenges them to make short videos (with teams) in a couple hours. If you haven't been to one, we recommend you go. Nem Perez explains how 50 artists created a movie together and each directed their own scene. The film had a $0 budget and was created asynchronously around the world.
