On September 21, 2021, in a little kitchen in Tasmania, the very first Lasagna Love delivery in Australia happened. Just one home cook, making one meal, for one neighbour in a new place. And now? We’ve hit 1,000 deliveries and counting! From bustling cities to quiet country towns, from families in need to our unhoused neighbours, Lasagna Love has officially spread to every state and territory—and we are just getting started.
?? Special shoutout to Queensland for leading the charge! And an even bigger round of applause for Michelle Pavey, our powerhouse of a Country & Regional Director. Michelle just celebrated her one-year anniversary leading Lasagna Love Australia, and in that time, she’s helped grow our reach by a mind-blowing 97% in 2024! She’s poured her heart into building this from the ground up, and thanks to her and our amazing volunteers, Australia has become a force for good, one meal at a time.
