?? Developing news! A task force from the Federal Carrier Safety Administration is recommending that Congress ban truck lease-purchase plans. ???? The task force claims these arrangements lead to fraud, exploit drivers, reduce the number of truck drivers, and pose an overall threat to the safety of the national transportation system. ????? Motor Carriers believe that these arrangement allow more drivers to access newer, safer and less polluting trucks than the individual drivers could do on their own.
