Miller Senior Health’s transitional care facilities as the Best Nursing Homes for 2025. Advanced Health Care currently operates skilled nursing facilities in 11 states. Patients at these facilities are typically recovering from hospital procedures or need short-term nursing and therapy assistance. When compiling the rankings, U.S. News evaluated nearly 15,000 nursing homes across the country based on various quality measures including staffing levels and resident health. “We’re honored and proud that 23 of our Advanced Health Care facilities have been recognized as being the best,” said Joe Walker, president of LHM Senior Health. “This achievement underscores the commitment our teams make to providing exceptional care so our patients can get back to making memories with their loved ones.” Congratulations Larry H. This Veterans Day we honor those who’ve served by supporting Utah Honor Flight, an Utah-based nonprofit working to take Utah Veterans on flights to visit the memorials dedicated to their courage and sacrifices. Over the years, many Veterans have called it the “trip of a lifetime.” Ashley Miller, a volunteer on this year’s Utah Honor Flight and a third-generation Miller family member, shared her thoughts on the experience saying: “Being a part of the Utah Honor Flight program is such a special experience. These Veterans gave so much for our country, and to share this experience with them—to hear their stories, to see them at these memorials that honor their service—is truly humbling. I’m grateful to have the chance to show them how much they’re appreciated. It’s a privilege to be there and to give back, even in this small way.” As we celebrate Veterans Day, we remember and thank all Veterans – past, present and future – and we’re honored to partner with organizations like Utah Honor Flight.

The Larry H. Miller Company recently hosted our annual Who We Are event to celebrate our mission, values, and incredible employees. The event began in 2015 when we codified what drives us and what sets us apart. Now, employees from across the country tune in for organizational updates, conversations with company leadership, and more. We heard from Steve Miller, board chair of the LHM Company, on our commitment, progress, and trajectory as a company. Steve Starks, CEO, shared more about our business strategy as well as highlights and news from our business platforms. Greg Miller, vice chair of the LHM Company and trustee of the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, and Don Stirling, executive director of the Miller Family Foundation, shared the stage for an insightful conversation on the Miller Family’s legacy of giving back to and supporting the community and how that continues to shape who we are today. Employees of Advanced Health Care, Advanced Home Health and Hospice, and Aspen Ridge Residences enjoyed spending a day providing service in their communities.
