"Dr. Heather came to our home yesterday to help our sweet 18-year-old boy cross the rainbow bridge. He had been perfectly healthy until suddenly he wasn’t, and with heavy hearts, we knew he was telling us it was his time. She arrived within six hours of our early-morning call at 4 a.m. As she stepped out of her car, she gently put her arm around me and said, “We will get through this together.” She listened as we shared all the silly stories about our boy (and there were so many!) and talked about all his little quirks that made him so special. She helped our sweet angel cross so peacefully and promised to take the very best care of him. I felt so safe releasing him into her care. She was unwavering in her support—strong and steady when we couldn’t be. She gave us a gift that we will never forget. To us, she is an absolute hero.
