The developer, Integra, expanded the project from 270 to 300 units, with at least 40% designated as affordable housing. The 11-story building will feature parking spaces for all units, 5,800 sf of retail space, a community center, and a leasing office. Its transit-friendly design includes a new sidewalk connecting to the existing busway and additional street parking for retail visitors. This month’s Featured Project is Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna, NE. With a full continuum of care, the community’s design creates an inviting, highly visible entrance that not only attracts the surrounding community but also provides a sense of cohesion for residents on campus. LB/A+ID’s overarching goal was to create a series of captivating “wow moments” that intrigue new residents and visitors and encourage them to explore further. This month's Featured Project is Orlando Health's Health Central Park. Completed in late summer of 2024, LB/A+ID designed the full renovation and repositioning of this Skilled Nursing Community in Winter Garden, FL. Originally built in 1967, the community needed repositioning to modernize and evolve to the relevant needs of current and future generations of residents. In close collaboration with the client and consultant team, LB/A+ID integrated a new 110-bed wing for short-term Skilled Nursing, high acuity, and Memory Care residents, bringing the total number of beds back to 228. ??: Barry Grossman
