    **Overcoming Challenges in Magnetic FOD Mitigation: A Journey of Innovation** Foreign Object Debris (FOD)—things like stray bolts, metal scraps, or tools left on runways—poses a serious threat to airplanes. These objects can cause major damage, leading to dangerous situations and costly repairs. Finding effective ways to detect and remove FOD is crucial for keeping flights safe and reducing expenses. Our team started in a small lab, aiming to create a powerful magnetic system to collect this hazardous debris. We needed magnets strong enough to pick up metal objects but safe enough not to interfere with other equipment. Each prototype taught us something new but also presented new challenges. Balancing magnetic strength with safety requirements was a complex task. One of our biggest hurdles was predicting how our technology would work in real life. Our early computer models didn't match what we observed during testing. This gap prompted us to develop better simulation tools that more accurately reflected actual conditions. By improving these models, we could refine our design more effectively. After extensive research and numerous trials, we developed a solution that's 24 times more effective than existing products. This breakthrough means our technology can detect and remove dangerous debris much more efficiently. In practical terms, it enhances aircraft safety and offers significant cost savings by preventing damage and reducing downtime. We are now at the forefront of magnetic FOD mitigation and aim to bring this impactful solution to airports and aviation facilities worldwide. By collaborating with investors and industry partners, we can create a safer and more efficient future for aviation through this cutting-edge technology.
