We are pleased to introduce Cheryl Vanase-Boroski, MA, LPC, our Clinical Director joining the Lantana Recovery Connecticut team. Cheryl has a great depth of experience working with Substance Use Disorder clients, including owning her private practice and holding positions at a renowned Psychiatric Hospital, an intensive Addiction and Detox unit, a Crisis Stabilization Program, and more. Cheryl’s approach to her work includes a mix of ancient and modern modalities. She has a passion for clinical research and blends all of these perspectives to offer clients evidence-based techniques that help them explore and discover their authentic selves, make positive changes, and sustain mastery of health and happiness. When Cheryl is not helping others from a place of heart-centered service, you can find her spending time with her family, gardening, or enjoying nature. What a fabulous turnout for yesterday's Charleston Collaborative Networking Breakfast, which is ever-growing. Are you a compassionate and experienced therapist looking to make a difference in the lives of individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders? Lantana Recovery is seeking a dedicated Primary Therapist to join our team in Charleston, SC. ?? Key Responsibilities: - Provide group, individual, and family therapy in a licensed outpatient setting - Conduct assessments, including biopsychosocial and Columbia Suicide Screen - Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered treatment plans - Manage client care, including case management and crisis intervention - Maintain clinical documentation within an EMR system ?? The Lantana team is growing and we’re excited to spotlight our newest member, Laura Dunlap. Laura is joining Lantana as a community engagement liason, where she’ll be responsible for connecting with likeminded organizations and the recovery community on-the-ground. A bit about Laura: After working with The Citadel Foundation and Roper St. Francis, Laura transitioned to a career in, mental health with Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health in 2023. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships and understanding how people communicate and connect. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with family, live music, sailing, and her Cavalier dog, Sailor.
