"If you have seen one family office, you have seen one family office." It was a pleasure and an enriching experience to engage with the families who participated in the first edition of the #EntrepreneurialFamilyOfficeProgram at IE Business School. We explored the governance of Single Family Offices (#SFOs). One of the key benefits a SFO provides to families is the establishment of robust governance structures that empower them to create clear guidelines and principles for wealth management and intergenerational wealth transfer. Each SFO’s governance model is unique, shaped by the size, needs, and dynamics of the family, as well as the nature and complexity of its wealth and assets under management. Thank you to the families for their insightful questions and openness, with a special thanks to cristina cruz and Jesús Casado Navarro-Rubio for including me as faculty, as well as to the entire IE Business School Executive Education team for their support.
