What a blast at our company outing! Sometimes you have to do some quality control on your work. We didn't mind assessing the electrical, plumbing, heating and air at this local gem. Our team of engineers, drafters, and staff swapped blueprints for bowling pins and footballs at Fowling KC – the ultimate fusion of bowling and football! We tackled the challenge of knocking down pins with some serious strategy (and maybe a bit of luck). Skill levels varied, but the fun was off the charts! After also watching the eclipse together this week we are feeling the camaraderie, and a touchdown-worthy day out! #EngineeringFun #TeamOuting #FowlingKC

And a cute one to boot. We had a great time at the Kansas City Autism Training Center! ?? They've just broken ground on renovations to enhance their space, including upgrades to the library, art and media classroom, kitchen, and restrooms. KcATC provides crucial treatment to children aged 2.5 to 12, offering tailored one-to-one instruction for 49 weeks a year. Through structured sessions and play breaks, they're dedicated to fostering growth and interaction for amazing kids. Staycation anyone? In Spring 2025 Kansas City will enjoy changes in latitude and attitude. Our MEP engineers are dedicating a lot to the new Margaritaville Hotel construction just east of The Legends. With thoughtful design elements, the 229-room hotel will feature an outdoor resort-style pool, indoor pool, entertainment and activity offerings for the whole family, meeting and event spaces, retail, as well as Margaritaville-inspired restaurants and bars. We're eager to show you the renderings today and even more excited to share photos next year!

Yes, Robert has been around since the beginning and it is hard to put to words how much that means. Thank you for your dedication and capabilities in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, construction administration...and so much more.

The holiday season has us thinking about LIGHTS ????? Kiewit's presence is widespread across the US. Their high-performing construction and engineer team recently expanded the office located in Westlake, Texas. Enjoy the light show - we hear their employees are happily settling in the opened floor plan, kitchen, café, and dining areas.

We don't often get to spend time cooking in a kitchen together but this week we went over to Healing House Kansas City to make a meal for around 100 individuals and families at the Community Center. Healing House is a warm, happy place where participants recover from substance abuse. Lives are enriched and the welfare of the KC community is heightened by the work of all the awesome staff and counselors there. They take a holistic approach providing meetings, support groups, counseling, recovery homes for adults and their children, employment services, financial counseling, outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and homes for new and expecting mothers.
