It might be an unpopular opinion, but I hold the view that LinkedIn surpasses Twitter as a more effective social platform.
This perspective doesn't revolve around the content; rather, it centers on the platform itself:
- The LinkedIn feed strikes a balanced blend of content from those you follow and introduces you to new connections (I'd estimate an 80/20 ratio on average).
- The prevalence of spam is significantly lower, likely due to the absence of anonymous profiles.
- While not reaching the heights of a few months ago, posts on LinkedIn still garner substantial reach.
- There's a sense of stability; the platform doesn't undergo frequent and unpredictable changes, offering a more consistent user experience.
Despite finding Twitter's content more captivating and diverse, I've come to appreciate LinkedIn, especially when connections are curated thoughtfully :)
For those who value building an audience, my strong recommendation is to leverage both platforms to mitigate any risks associated with platform changes.
Your opinions on this matter are most welcomed!
