Lane Workforce Partnership is proud to be a member of the Arts & Business Alliance of Eugene (ABAE)'s Catalyst Club and to work alongside 's dedicated community partners to support IATSE 675's rigging training program! ???? Skilled riggers are the backbone of live entertainment—requiring specialized training, technical expertise, and extensive experience. However, the shortage of trained riggers has forced local venues and events to seek help from outside Lane County. To address this challenge, Lane Workforce Partnership convened a coalition of committed partners, including: ?? Hult Center for the Performing Arts, City of Eugene ??? City of Eugene ?? Arts & Business Alliance of Eugene (ABAE) ??? Lane County Government ?? Travel Lane County Together, we’ve secured $30,000 in training materials to strengthen the entertainment union’s ability to train and equip local riggers. This investment ensures a highly skilled, reliable workforce right here in Lane County, supporting the growth of our vibrant arts and entertainment industry. ?? Our team of partners from across the coast met with 30+ industry leaders at Pelican Brewing Company in Lincoln City, kicking off a critical conversation with the Institute for Networked Communities (INC) Communities on strengthening the hospitality sector. With the Oregon Coast hospitality industry projected to add nearly 40,000 jobs by 2031, this partnership is a game-changer for the region’s workforce and businesses.
